(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = KGM Commercial(KGMC) has begun its first step toward increasing electric bus sales in the global market with its first overseas export since its establishment.

The first overseas export country is Paraguay in Central and South America, a country monopolized by Chinese brands, and in cooperation with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH), it will export five eco-friendly electric seat buses(SMART 110E).

The export is part of KATECH’s plan to build an auto parts center in Paraguay with KGMC to continue cooperation for national interests, including supporting and spreading eco-friendly vehicle technology through pilot supply and operation of electric buses.

KGMC plans to hold an event to launch the electric seat buses and deliver the first vehicle in November, inviting high-ranking government officials, including the President of Paraguay, when the electric seat buses are delivered to Paraguay.

KGMC also plans to expand its overseas market development and sales through active local marketing and aggressive market penetration in the Asia-Pacific region, which is the main market for RHD, based on this export to Paraguay.
