(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = SK Telecom, along with EHI released loT-based device ‘Smart Tracker’ that notifies users the loss of personal items such as wallet, travel suitcase or smartphone.

Smart Tracker has 2 styles, the larger card-shaped edition (86x54x1.3mm) and the smaller tag-shaped edition (36x22x4.5mm).

This equipment helps to keep track of phone by verifying locations by notifications when the distance between tracker and phone gets farther than 20~30m through a Bluetooth network.

The smaller tag-shaped edition can be used by suspending car key, handbag, carrier or attaching to remote control or tablet using enclosed straps and double-sided tape.

The larger card-shaped edition can be used by putting in wallet or passport in similar form as credit card.

If the distance between smartphone and Smart Tracker get farther than the Bluetooth communication distance, the tag style sounds an alarm both in the tracker and smartphone, and the card style sounds an alarm in the smartphone and can prevent loss.
