(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = KGM (KG Mobility) has partnered with global trade company STX to supply the Rexton Sports to the Peruvian Army.

As part of this initiative, representatives from the Peruvian Army, along with STX officials, visited KGM’s Pyeongtaek plant on the 4th for a meeting. During the visit, they toured the production line and had the opportunity to test drive the Rexton Sports.

The meeting, held in the main conference room of the Pyeongtaek plant, was attended by KGM CEO Jang-ho Park, officials from the Peruvian Army, and representatives from STX.

The Rexton Sports has been recognized globally for its performance and market appeal. It was previously selected as the best pickup by renowned UK automotive publications such as What Car and Carbuyer.

Looking ahead, KGM plans to expand its collaboration with the Peruvian Army by responding to a variety of needs, including the development of special-purpose vehicles, in addition to regular vehicles. Starting with the supply of 400 units this year, KGM aims to increase the number to 2,000 units by 2025.
