(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = VUNO, which specializes in medical artificial intelligence, records the highest revenues in its history, suggesting a strong possibility of reaching BEP by quarters in 2024.

VUNO said it reached 13.3 billion won in revenues in 2023 (consolidated), up by about 60% YoY. Its 4Q 2023 revenues were 4.9 billion, or about a 40% increase over last quarter’s 3.6 billion won.

The continuing upward trends of revenues were explained thanks to the rapidly growing influence of its main product, VUNO Med®-DeepCARS™, an AI-based medical device for predicting the risk of cardiac arrest, in the market as well as increasing sales from its medical image product lines at home and abroad, and great performances of B2C business.

In addition, a recurring, stable revenue structure from Software as a Service (SaaS) services supported the growing revenues to go on, allowing it to reach the break-even point (BEP) by quarters in 2024 and turn a profit (annual) in 2025.

The Korean medical device company’s VUNO Med® Lung CT AI™, an AI-based lung CT diagnostic assistant, continued its great popularity in Japan. It also has a B2C model chronic disease management brand, Hativ, launched in January 2023 which already earned one billion won in the first year of release.

VUNO planned to pour more effort into the US market this year. The company is preparing for the official launch of VUNO Med® DeepBrain, an AI-based medical device for extracting quantitative brain data, approved by the US FDA last October.
