(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = Nousbo, an agricultural company, announced on the 23rd that it has signed a long-term supply contract for powdered green tea with a U.S. multinational coffee franchise

According to the disclosure, the contract period is approximately three years and the supply amount during the period is approximately 17.8 billion won, which is approximately 24.3% of the 22-year cumulative sales.

The company that signed the supply contract this time is a global coffee company with more than 20,000 stores in more than 60 countries around the world, leading the coffee industry and the culture around coffee.

Powdered green tea, often referred to as matcha, is a very fine powder made from ground green tea that can be mixed with water or milk and used in baking and confectionery, and is growing in popularity around the world.

An official from Nousbo said, “Based on this contract, we are preparing a detailed plan by establishing a roadmap, including expanding contract cultivation and operating a processing plant, to build a stable production network, and we will achieve good results as we prepare for large-scale exports to the United States and Europe.”
