(Seoul=NSP News Agency) hYUNJIN KIM Journalist = Naver Z partnered with the largest Thai mobile carrier to create a global metaverse creator’s hub.

Last 31 August, Naver Z and the mobile carrier concluded an MOU for cultivating the Zepeto metaverse ecosystem at TRUE House, Bangkok, Thailand, where equipped with XR facilities and attended with the lead at Naver Z, Heeseok Kang, and Chief Strategic Content & Public Affairs Officer at TRUE, Birathon Kasemsri.

Currently, Zepeto has millions of active users in Thailand, consolidated its position as the most popular metaverse service among Thailand’s Generation Z. Thai creators at Zepeto were 0.5 million or more.

Zepeto was a distinctive platform providing various content on K-Pop, which has big fandom in the South Asian country.

Last 31 August, Black Pink member Lisa, who is a Global Ambassador of Bvlgari and a musician from Thailand, attracted great attention at Zepeto Bvlgari World with various promotions, including a selfie time with her fans.

As of August 2022, 13 million or more Black Pink goods were sold at Zepeto, and Zepeto X Black Pink collaborative video recorded 130 million views.
