(Seoul=NSP News Agency) soon ki Lee Journalist = Hyundai Motor Group officially launched the Genesis brand’s first SUV GV80 with eight world-first technologies, including navigation augmented reality.


The 3.0 diesel model of the Genesis GV80 will be launched and the Genesis GV80 will be operated in a total of three engine lineups later with the addition of gasoline 2.5 and 3.5 turbo models in the future. The selling price of the 3.0 diesel model starts at 65.8 million won.


The GV80 is equipped with a six-cylinder 3.0 diesel engine and has the highest dynamic performance in its class, with a maximum output of 278 horsepower(PS) and a maximum torque of 60.0 kgf·m. The combined gas mileage is 11.8 km/ℓ.

In particular, the ‘Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview’ was first applied to recognize the information of road surface ahead through the front camera and navigation information, and to provide passengers with the optimal riding comfort with proper suspension control.

In addition, “Multi Terrain Control” is applied to ensure stable driving even on various road surfaces(mud, sand, snow), so comfortable driving is possible according to the road conditions.

In addition, SCC-ML(Smart Cruise Control-Machine Learning) linked to driving style, which was first applied in the world, is an AI-based intelligent cruise technology with which the car learns the driver’s driving propensity on its own and implements autonomous driving similar to that of the driver.
