(Seoul=NSP News Agency) dILFUZA Sultanova Journalist = LG Electronics (066570) has extended production line to two weeks comparing to last year and will produce Whisen conditioners until mid-August in the city of Changwon, Geongnam.

Despite the fact that the previous years, the company has stopped production in August, this year the production is expected until mid-August, in accordance with demand due to the continuing heatwave.

Full capacity utilization exceeded 100%, which is four weeks longer than last year, from 3 weeks in April and 4 weeks in August, in total 16 weeks. (Except that, the production line has been closed for a week in August)
LG Electronics plans to operate at full capacity even in mid-August, since many customers still want to buy air conditioning because of hot weather.
