(Seoul=NSP News Agency) jonghyuk Kim Journalist = Lotte Engineering & Construction completed dismantling 64 tons tower crane installed on Lotte World Tower on 3rd.

Dismantling tower crane means that frame construction was finished and completing construction is imminent.

Especially, Lotte World Tower looks like a cone, becoming narrow toward the top, more difficult installing and dismantling than other skyscrapers.

Dismantling tower crane started from 8th Apr. this year. Tower crane is taken down to the ground at once under ordinary.

However Lotte World Tower has made a pedestal that is a space for dismantling, in order to prevent industrial accident on 79th floor.

After taking down components of the crane to the pedestal, delivering them to the ground, it took 115 days to complete this task.

Originally, there were two 64 ton cranes and two 32 ton cranes installed on the superstructure of Lotte World Tower. Processing the construction a 64 ton crane and a 32 ton crane were dismantled, remaining two cranes were used for frame construction.

These 64 and 32 ton cranes were reinstalled on the separate equipment on the outer wall, after finishing lifting work they were dismantled.
