(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = CJ Logistics will also begin its liquefied hydrogen transportation business in earnest as SK E&S completes the Incheon liquefied hydrogen plant.

The Incheon Liquefied Hydrogen Plant is the world’s largest facility capable of producing 90 tons of liquefied hydrogen per day, or 30,000 tons per year. CJ Logistics was in charge of nationwide transportation of the liquefied hydrogen produced here.

CJ Logistics plans to transport the liquefied hydrogen produced at SK E&S’ Incheon liquefied hydrogen plant to charging stations across the country on a special tank trailer. Currently, there are a total of six charging stations, including Gajwa, Incheon, where hydrogen vehicles such as buses are charged and driven.

Liquid hydrogen charging stations are scheduled to expand to 40 locations nationwide in the future. In line with this, CJ Logistics plans to deploy additional tank trailer vehicles.

‘It is significant that CJ Logistics has pioneered and preempted a new field of hydrogen logistics, which handles the core energy source of the hydrogen ecosystem,’ said CJ Logistics.
