US FOMC Rate Hike... Korea-US Interest Rate Difference 2%p ‘Highest Ever’
(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = Korean Air reached a tentative agreement with its pilot union on 2023 pilot wages on 25 September afternoon.
The two parties agreed on ▲ increasing total wages by 3.5% (up 3.5% for base salary and flying allowance, respectively), ▲ expanding the limits of performance-based incentives from 300% to 500%, and ▲ introducing a flexible benefits plan.
Also included were a raise in miscellaneous costs and a “live out allowance,” and a criteria adjustment for quick-turn allowance.
The agreement is to be finalized after the vote by union members.
