(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Samsung Electronics expands its Galaxy self-repair program to nine countries in Europe following the US and Korea.

Samsung Electronics first introduced the program in the US in August of last year, and introduced a self-repair program in Korea in May of this year.

In the future, consumers in nine European countries(UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Poland) will be able to repair their Galaxy products themselves by purchasing necessary parts and repair tools from local Samsung Electronics stores or online sites of professional repair companies.

Smartphones that support self-repair are the Galaxy S20·S21·S22 series, as in Korea, and three parts, including the display, rear cover, and charging port, are subject to self-repair.

Just like in Korea, Galaxy Book Pro 39.6cm(15.6-inch) series laptops can also be self-repaired, with a total of seven parts, including the touch pads and fingerprint recognition power buttons. However, in the case of the Galaxy Book Pro series, self-repair is supported only in four countries, including Germany, Sweden, England, and Italy, where the product was released.
