Samsung C&T, Winning 750 Billion Won Contract for ‘Fubon Aogidi Complex Development Project’

ENX7, Read 0(=NSP NEWS) = On the 19th, Samsung C&T’s construction division won an order for the Fubon Aojidi Complex Development Project which was ordered by Fubon Life Insurance, a subsidiary of Fubon Financial Group, a large financial group in Taiwan.
The Aojidi Complex Development Project is a construction of a 48-story, 240m high office building and a 23-story hotel, and a 13-story neighborhood facility(podium) connecting the two buildings in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
It is a large complex development project with a total floor area of 557,000㎡, and a shopping mall and an aquarium are scheduled to be built together. Samsung C&T won the order by forming a joint venture(JV) with a construction company, and out of the total construction cost of 1 trillion won, Samsung C&T’s stake is about 750 billion won.

Samsung C&T explained that it won this project by suggesting an optimal construction period through communication with the owner and by eliciting customer satisfaction, such as proposing a differentiated construction method based on its experience and technology in conducting large-scale complex development projects.
