(Seoul=NSP News Agency) soon ki Lee Journalist = Hyundai Motor Group accelerates the development of the robotics new business, which is a future high value-added business area.

The group applied the chair-type wearing robot (H-CEX) to the North American factory of Hyundai-Kia Motors in September, and will continue to test the technology of industrial wearable robots which it developed itself, applying the top-view wearing robots (H-VEX) in the end of this year.

Hyundai Motor Group, which selected the robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) field as one of the five areas of future innovation growth this year, has established a Robotics team dedicated to robotics under the Strategic Technology Headquarters, and is expanding the collaboration between related sections.

Robotics is evaluated as a future key new growth engine which will expand the business areas of Hyundai Motor Group as it can be expanded and applied to the various fields, such as industry, military, and life support as well as provide the freedom of movement for all people, including those with the transportation vulnerable.
