(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = LG Electronics CEO and Vice Chairman Jo Seong-jin received the Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit award, a highest honor for corporate businessman.

He received the Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit during the 41st National Productivity Award in Samsung dong, KOEX, Seoul, hosted by the Korea Productivity Center.

He joined GoldStar, as an electrician in electricity designing team in 1976. Since then, he has worked in the home appliances industry for more than four decades and now called as most skillful expert and maestro in home appliances.

He got the recognition for his contribution to the seamless development of new technologies in the home appliances sector and pioneering global home appliances market.

He always stresses that it is very important to establish a solid partnership with small subcontractors to secure competitiveness in electronics parts and thus to provide better quality and safety to our customers.
