(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = SK Telecom, together with global communication equipment manufacturers, has demonstrated communication speeds up to 1.4Gbps speed in 5 commercial LTE frequency bands, and succeeded in reaching speeds up to 1Gbps via LTE and WiFi bands simultaneously.

Patrick Johansson, the CEO of Ericcson LG, said that mobile data traffic will increase up to 8 times by 2022 mainly by videos. He also mentioned that LAA technologies, which combine licensed and unlicensed bands, will provide a better user experience furthermore.
