(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = Starting first of June, Boeing 787-9 of Korean Air (003490) will be launched on international routes for the first time.
The flight will be put on route from Incheon to Toronto and will meet Canadian air route passengers once a day.
At the same time, the flights on the Kimpo-Jeju route where Boeing 787-9 have been used will be replaced by other flights such as Boeing 777-300.
In addition, Korean Air is planning to take over the third Boeing 787-9 in mid-July and will put the flight on Incheon~Madrid and Incheon~Beijing route from August after completing on necessary steps such as radio station authorization and security checks.
In the meantime, Korean Air will launch 10 next-generation Boeing 787-9 airplanes one by one to strategically use it on long distance flights.
