(Seoul=NSP News Agency) jonghyuk Kim Journalist = Samsung Electronics launches a mobile payment service 'Samsung Pay' that has usability and security, in Brazil first in South America.

Samsung Pay was launched on July 2015 in Korea, continue in the USA on Sep. that year, on Mar. this year in China, on Jun. in the Spain, Singapore and Australia. On 12th this month, it was launched in Puerto Rico also.

Samsung Electronics has made contracts with major financial agencies such as Banco do Brasil, Brasil Pré-Pagos, Caixa, Porto Seguro and Santander. Moreover it is preparing to cooperate with Banrisul, Bradesco, Nubank and Itaú-Unibanco.

Samsung Pay is cooperating with more than 200 main global banks and major credit card companies like American Express, Union Pay, Master and Visa.

On May this year Samsung Electronics announced its cooperating with Alipay in China.
