(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = Tonymoly, a South Korea’s cosmetic maker, on Monday unveiled a plan to build a cosmetics production line in Pinghu city, Zhejiang, China.
The company said it struck a deal on last Thursday with the Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Area Management Committee to get a right for 6,400-square-meters land use.
The spacious area will be filled with Tonymoly’s cosmetics factories, which especially designed for churning out OEM(original equipment manufacturing), and ODM(original design manufacturer) products. “We will launch some uniquely designed products for Chinese consumers, from our new Pinghu production line,” said Tonymoly CEO Bae Hae-dong, “Our project is expected to contribute to the development of city of Pinghu, as well as Tonymoly’s Chinese market expansion.”

The construction of Tonymoly’s new plant is scheduled to begin next March, and be complete by the end of 2016.
