(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = KB Kookmin Card Co, Ltd., the Korea’s largest credit card company, will start operating an online shopping mall with a theme of Hanryu, or the Korean wave. Targeting on Chinese consumers, the store is to provide direct purchasing of Korean goods.

The new online mall named as Yeo-ui-ju, which means a wish-fulfilling jewel, will kick off its business on November 1. It will be the specialized market of Korean goods, allowing online or mobile shopping for Chinese customers with UnionPay International cards.

In an attempt to build up an easy-access, convenient site, Yeo-ui-ju mall will offer customer-oriented services including ▲Homepage and mobile application with full Chinese language support ▲Korean specialties and industrial products ▲Culture contents (multimedia contents of culture and art) related with Hanryu ▲Simplified custom clearance and delivery service ▲Real time online consultants.

Adding to the services above, Yeo-ui-ju also will implement the latest version of UnionPay’s payment system (UPOP 5.0 version) to maximize the payment efficiency for Chinese consumers.
