(Seoul=NSP News Agency) jonghyuk Kim Journalist = Nongshim is going to operate new water plant as early as end of this month, named “Baekdusan Baeksansu” located in Erdao-zhen Antu-xian Jilin-sheng China, to implement aggressive marketing.

Nongshim hopes extending China market, also advancing world market with Baeksansu made by world best level Baekdu Mt. Water in the plant which has world best facility, through that they expect to surpass 'Evian' a global mineral water company.

This new plant of Baeksansu is built in site about 300,000㎡ in area. It has plant buildings, utility buildings and living halls, The total ground area is 84,000㎡. It has two product lines, one is exclusive use of 05L bottle, the other is for 2L bottle. They are able to manufacture about 1650 bottles of Baeksansu per minute.

This makes that the maximum annual production of Baeksansu runs to 1.25 million tons. Nongshim has a goal that annual sales should reach 1 trillion in whole China till 2025.

“Last 50 years, Nongshim has written 'history of noodle', now we are going to create 'myth of water'”said Jun Park representative of Nongshim “when the new Baeksansu plant is working at full, sales in China and oversea export hit their stride, the brand of Korean mineral water gets abreast of global mineral water.”
