(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = NCSoft held its 28th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 26 at the company’s R&D Center located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

Co-CEO and Chair of the Meeting, Park Byung-moo, opened with a statement emphasizing the company’s commitment to fundamentals: “NCSoft will stay true to the basics—game quality and technological strength. We aim to recapture the spirit of our past, when all employees moved in unison to create fun and engaging games, driven by technological innovation and communication with users.”

Looking ahead, NCSoft outlined its strategic direction for the year, which includes: enhancing operations to maintain the competitiveness of existing IPs, maximizing gameplay quality in new development and publishing titles, establishing genre-based clusters through new investments and M&As, and strengthening publishing capabilities by expanding talent acquisition and collaborations with game developers

In a show of commitment to shareholder value, NCSoft announced plans to return 30% of its net income as cash dividends through 2027. In February, the company approved the cancellation of treasury shares worth KRW 127 billion, a process completed on March 24. NCSoft stated that it will continue exploring additional shareholder return measures based on future financial performance improvements.

All four agenda items at the meeting—including approval of the financial and consolidated statements, election of outside directors, appointment of audit committee members, and the ceiling on directors’ remuneration—were passed as originally proposed.
