(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = Samsung Electronics is set to release the Galaxy S24 series, heralding the era of mobile artificial intelligence (AI), starting from the 31st in major countries worldwide.

The Galaxy S24 series will be sequentially launched in over 120 countries, including South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, India, and Singapore.

Comprising the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24, the series offers various innovative features based on Galaxy AI.

Notably, it provides a real-time translation feature supporting 13 languages (Live Translate) and a Chat Assist feature that not only translates messages but also adjusts the tone, facilitating more fluid communication across language barriers. The supported languages are expected to expand continuously beyond the initial 13 at the time of launch.

The Circle to Search feature, born out of collaboration with Google, adopted a new search method.

The Galaxy S24 series' camera is enhanced with an AI-based ProVisual Engine, offering a more powerful camera experience, from improved zoom quality to innovative photo and video editing capabilities based on AI.

To extend the Galaxy AI experience to more users, Samsung plans to expand the Galaxy AI experience to previous-generation devices.

The models eligible for software updates include the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. Specific update timings will be announced later.

In addition, Samsung plans to support 7th-generation OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates starting with the Galaxy S24 series.
