(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = Lotte Card, a South Korea’s credit card company, announced that it would offer ‘Lotte Card Samsung Pay service,’ which enables a profoundly simple payment services in both online and offline shopping malls. The service will be available from December.

Lotte and Samsung had made a strategic alliance to develop an online payment system before launching the Lotte Card Samsung Pay service online.

The online payment process will be done by selecting Lotte Card Samsung Pay as a payment option, then having one time of fingerprint authentication. Through this simple and intuitive way, Lotte card users could take a benefit of a ubiquitous, convenient Samsung Pay service which have only been available in physical stores.

Meanwhile, Lotte is mapping out a plan to release a mobile credit card associated with Samsung Pay, allowing the card users to pay in not only Lotte card affiliate stores but also unassuming online and offline shopping malls nationwide.

“We will establish a user-friendly online payment environment for every Lotte Card user via Samsung Pay and any other methods.” A Lotte Card spokesman said in a speech.
